EU Future 100

100 Kandidierende für ein demokratisches Europa! 

Vom 6. bis 9. Juni 2024 entscheiden wir, wer für fünf Jahre neue EU-Gesetze verhandelt und uns in Brüssel eine Stimme gibt. Diese Zeit wird schwierig, denn nahe Kriege, Migration, der Klimawandel, wirtschaftliche Unsicherheit und interne Polarisierung fordern die EU. Die 100 Kandidierenden der EU Future 100 sind der Herausforderung gewachsen. Über Länder- und Parteigrenzen hinaus setzen sie sich für eine zukunftsorientierte EU-Politik ein, die sicher und nachhaltig für alle ist.
 
Wir können nicht zulassen, dass extremrechte Politiker*innen, die, die Hass schüren und Fake News verbreiten, die EU-Politik übernehmen. Stattdessen brauchen wir Kandidierende, die den Austausch mit der Zivilgesellschaft suchen und Demokratie, Bürger*innen-Beteiligung, Menschenrechte und Rechtsstaatlichkeit verteidigen. Wir brauchen die, die thematisch, überparteilich, pragmatisch zusammenarbeiten. Das sind die EU Future 100. Wenn wir für die EU Future 100 stimmen, wählen wir eine bessere Zukunft für alle.

    Cornelius Golembiewski is a doctor and local politician. He founded EducAid to teach first aid techniques in a targeted and innovative way. Cornelius combines medical expertise with local experience from East Germany. He is committed to medical education and equal rights.

    Jan-Denis Wulff has previously worked as a teacher and police officer. He focuses on the challenges of cyber-crime and far right extremism. He promotes a diverse, democratic police force and a strong security architecture in the digital space to protect both the economy and civil society.

    Janina Singh studied business law and pluralist economics. She currently works as a research assistant for the Bundestag. Her political focus is on digital and innovation policy, protection of minority rights, anti-racism and diversity.

Wer organisiert diese Kampagne?

EU Future 100 ist eine transnationale Kampagne, die von Partner*innen aus zehn europäischen Ländern organisiert wird, nämlich The Innovation in Politics Institute aus Österreich, Académie des Futurs Leaders aus Frankreich, Brand New Bundestag aus Deutschland, Ti Candido aus Italien, Kleur de Kamer und Stem Op En Vrouw aus den Niederlanden, Political Watch und Ideas En Guerra aus Spanien sowie Partner*innen in Belgien, Ungarn, Portugal und Polen.

Was ist der Zweck der EU Future 100?

Als zivilgesellschaftliche Akteur*innen aus zehn Ländern sind wir beunruhigt über den Aufstieg rechtsextremer Parteien und den Anstieg undemokratischer Diskurse und Fake News, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit den bevorstehenden Europawahlen. Vor diesem Hintergrund stehen wir als demokratische, überparteiliche Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft zusammen, um unterrepräsentierte politische Kandidaten mit innovativen Ideen und einem starken Fokus für eine gerechte und nachhaltige Zukunft für alle zu unterstützen. Wir unterstützen diejenigen, die die zentralen Werte der Europäischen Union schützen: Solidarität, Menschenrechte, Gleichheit, Demokratie und Rechtsstaatlichkeit. Wir glauben an die Kraft starker Verbindungen zwischen der Zivilgesellschaft und den Parlamentarier*innen, um sicherzustellen, dass das Europäische Parlament die Menschen in Europa besser vertritt.

Wie wurden die Kandidierenden ausgewählt?

Die Kandidierenden wurden von unseren Partner*innen in den jeweiligen Ländern danach ausgewählt, inwieweit sie für eine innovative, zukunftsfähige Politik stehen, welche Verbindungen sie zur Zivilgesellschaft haben und welche unterrepräsentierten Perspektiven sie in das Europäische Parlament einbringen könnten. Die Anzahl der Kandidaten pro Land ergibt sich aus den nationalen Sitzverteilungen im Parlament. Wir haben sowohl Kandidierende ausgewählt, die politische Erfahrung mitbringen, als auch Neulinge. Alle wurden über ihre Nominierung für die EU Future 100 informiert.

Wie werden die Kandidierenden zusammenarbeiten?

Wir bringen die Menschen hinter EU Future 100 vor und nach den Wahlen zusammen. Die EU Future 100 ist nicht einfach eine Liste von Namen, sondern der Beginn einer überparteilichen, co-kreativen Zusammenarbeit. Die Kandidierenden von EU Future 100 haben die Möglichkeit an Workshops teilzunehmen und sich in thematischen Arbeitsgruppen zusammenzuschließen, um sich gegenseitig im Vorfeld der Wahlen zu unterstützen. Sobald sie im Parlament sind, wollen wir Möglichkeiten für den Austausch zwischen den Kandidaten, die Abgeordnete werden, sowie Diskussionsräume für sie in verschiedenen Ländern mit Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft schaffen, um zukunftsfähige politische Initiativen über das gesamte politische Spektrum hinweg zu ermöglichen. Darüber hinaus werden wir die EU Future 100 mit zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen zusammenbringen, um das thematische Wissen und die gelebten Erfahrungen zur Verfügung zu stellen, die für nachhaltige und integrative Gesetzesvorhaben notwendig sind.

Warum ist mein Land nicht in der EU Future 100 aufgeführt?

In den zehn Ländern, die von dieser Kampagne abgedeckt werden, leben 67 % aller Menschen in Europa. Leider ist es uns nicht gelungen, eine geeignete Partnerorganisation in Ihrem Land zu finden, oder Organisationen haben es abgelehnt, an dieser Kampagne teilzunehmen. Wir haben davon abgesehen, Empfehlungen für Kandidierende aus anderen Ländern als unseren eigenen abzugeben.

Wie kann ich mich engagieren?

Bitte gehen Sie vom 6. Juni bis 9. Juni 2024 bei den Europawahlen wählen und geben Sie Ihre Stimme einer Partei und Person, die die europäischen Werte verteidigt und die Europäische Union auf integrative und nachhaltige Weise zukunftssicher macht. Teilen Sie diese Kampagne mit den Menschen, die Sie kennen, und beginnen Sie Gespräche in Ihrem Umfeld und in den sozialen Medien über zukunftsorientierte Kandidierende und die Bedeutung der Europawahlen. Unterstützen Sie die Arbeit der Organisationen, die hinter dieser Kampagne stehen.
